so, in the realm of chinese food in los angeles, you have basically two choices. you can order food that chinese people eat, or you can order the stuff that americans eat when they want to pretend they are eating chinese. this place fits the latter category. theres nothing wrong with that, though, and this place was perfectly fine. we ordered via doordash, so i've never been to the restaurant. but our food was delivered to our hotel while still piping hot, and it was properly packed, so no complaints, really. we liked it enough to eat it all! why am i staying in a hotel in los angeles when i live in los angeles? keep reading reviews and all will be revealed! if ya care....

We have been visiting this spot for years with my in laws. The food is very good and it comes out piping hot and tastes delicious. Our fav is the special fish dish. It's like battered and fried fish in a yummy savory soy and garlic sauce. The walnut prawns are also crispy and delicious too. I love the pan fried noodles they use, they are thick and they will add extra sauce if you request. The service is friendly and they are kind. Oh one time they saw Casey affleck here on Christmas! So hey maybe he's a regular? Hah.
